General Practices

  • Aromatherapy is a holistic wellness modality that relies on the extracted essential oils of botanical materials to help support the healthy functioning of the various body systems. Dancing Bee Botanicals & Aromatics, LLC (hereafter referred to as “we” or “our”) does not provide care, treatment, or advice of a medical nature. It is our policy to refer all clients to a qualified medical (or mental health) professional for diagnosis and treatment of any illness or disease.

  • Essential oils are extremely concentrated plant substances that have the ability to cause adverse reactions, including allergic reactions. It is our policy to inform clients of this possibility and recommend immediate medical care for any reactions that do occur. We are not able to provide medical advice or recommendations in such situations. Adverse reactions are individualized occurrences, and we are not responsible for such events.

  • We stress safety in the use of all essential oils and aromatherapy products and do not encourage or condone the ingestion of, the internal use of, or the undiluted use of essential oils or aromatherapy products. Nor do we encourage or condone the use of essential oils or aromatherapy products on children under the age of 2 years or in adults during the first trimester of pregnancy (a healthcare provider should be consulted for use in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters).

  • Customers and clients who are taking medications/supplements or who have been diagnosed with a medical condition are advised to seek advice from a licensed, qualified healthcare provider prior to using products containing herbs or essential oils.

Consultations and Products

  • Aromatherapy consultations require 2 separate visits, an initial consultation and a return visit for the client to receive her/his personalized aromatherapy support plan and any customized product that has been created for use in said plan. The payment for the consultation is required upon arrival on the initial date of service, and the payment for any customized product is due at the time of pick up on the subsequent visit.

  • Upon conclusion of a consultation, Dancing Bee Botanicals & Aromatics, LLC will provide aromatherapy clients with a personalized aromatherapy support plan which includes detailed usage instructions as well as safety protocols. The client is responsible for following the instructions, adhering to the safety information, and seeking proper medical care in the case of any adverse reactions.

  • We understand that sometimes life is complicated, so we understand if you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Consultation clients who miss an appointment without notifying us first will be given an opportunity to reschedule. A 2nd no-show without prior notification will result in no further appointments being accepted. Likewise for clients who excessively and repeatedly cancel at the last minute.

  • It is important that we are able to thoroughly cover some very detailed (and sometimes private) information during a consultation. For safety, comfort, and an effective consultation, please plan to find childcare prior to your visit and please also refrain from bringing guests to your appointment. 

  • At this time, we do not provide consultation services to individuals under the age of 18 years of age, nor are we able to prepare any handcrafted products for individuals under 18 years of age. This policy is separate from any Plant Therapy products we sell and does not apply to Plant Therapy essential oils and aromatherapy products. Customers who wish to purchase Plant Therapy products for a child under the age of 18 years acknowledge that they have thoroughly researched the product, its possible side effects, and the safe usage of said product, and that they accept any risk involved in the child’s use of said product.

  • The Dancing Bee Botanicals & Aromatics, LLC product line is handcrafted in small batches. As such, there may be some variation in color, consistency, or aroma from batch to batch. Each product is packaged by weight, which may result in a package looking less than full even though the listed weight is accurate. Our products are made with natural ingredients and do not contain preservatives. This results in a shorter shelf life than that of commercial products that contain preservatives and artificial ingredients. We recommend that you store our products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to maximize the life of the product.


  • At this time, we do not accept personal checks as a form of payment.

  • The following credit cards (and debit cards bearing these logos) are accepted on our website and in our office and will appear on your statement as being processed through PayPal payment services:  Visa, MasterCard, American Express


  • We always want our customers to feel great about their purchases. However, due to the nature of our products, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Natural ingredients are expensive, and any returned product has to go straight to the compost bin. To keep our prices down, we strongly encourage you to test each product (if you’re buying at our office) and ask plenty of questions before making your purchase. Please note that customized products (such as with a consultation) are uniquely formulated and are not returnable.
